There are a large number of micro-nanoscale structures possessing important functions in organisms, including proteins, DNA, RNA and more. We utilize theoretical and calculational methods to understand the ways and underlying mechanisms of these structures achieving specific functions, and further construct structures and devices with similar functions on man-made materials to achieve molecular bionics.
